The Tourist Office is located in the municipal premises and offers the following services:

• provides tourist information on:

- accommodation;
- eating out;
- cultural and historic monuments and natural landmarks;
- tourist services offered in town;
- transport services;
- cultural, sports and other events.

• Certification of the registers, kept by the hotel and guest house owners, of the tourists accommodated and the number of overnight stays. The certification is done based upon article 10, paragraph 3, point 6 of the Law on Tourism. The registers are certified monthly, by 15th of each month.

Necessary documentation:

- copy of the receipt verifying payment of the tourist tax depending on the number of overnight stays during the previous month;
- information on the number of tourists and overnight stays (including nationality) at the tourist place concerned during the month for which the tourist tax has been paid (within the municipality of Gabrovo the amount of the tourist tax is 0.50 BGN per overnight stay)

• Creation of advertisement materials to promote the tourist resources of the municipality of Gabrovo, as well as of individual tourist places and distribution of these materials during tourist exhibitions and forums.

• Consultation of citizens on law regulations regarding various tourist activities, as well as on funding opportunities in the field of tourism

•Participation in the development and implementation of projects focused on the creation of tourist products and arrangement of tourist events to attract additional tourist flow.

• Arrangements for the design of the Tourism Development Program of the Municipality of Gabrovo (based upon article 10, paragraphs 1, 2 of the Law on Tourism) and coordination of its implementation.
